Black Lives and Money Matter

I have never had a good experience with the police. Every time I have ever come into contact with a person of authority it has cost me a lot of money. I have had more speeding tickets than I like to admit.

I avoid police at all costs. Because I know if I come into contact with them it will cost me time, money, reputation or things much worse.

You will never get ahead or become rich sitting in a courtroom or paying money to an attorney.

But I have never feared for my life. I have never been threatened with arrest. No cop has ever given me a sobriety test.

Protests have been happening everyday for the past 3 weeks since the death of George Floyd. So many companies have come out and pledged to help the black community! What took them so long? Did we have to get a video of someone brutally dying for people to acknowledge that racism is alive and well?

It should not have to be that way.

Black Lives Matter

Black money matters

High tide lifts all boats. The more money black people have the more consumers there are in the marketplace. Black people could buy nice homes and make neighhoods better. And created better schools through higher property tax funds.

We have to keep fighting for justice.

We have to keep gathering together as a community. Listening to one another. Healing old wounds. Listening to people we disagree with and have empathy for people on the other side of the political isle.

The country is in chaos. I dont know what it is going to take to bring people together.

Wrongs are finally being righted, but will this last? Or will this be a passing phase?

Old monuments are being torn down. Why were they even there in the first place? They must be ever ways to spend tax money than creating statues.

This is all happening with the backdrop of COVID-19 still spreading and the number of cases increasing.

Life does not seem like it will be going back to normal anytime soon and really it shouldn’t. Things need to change, to improve.

I am taking this time to listen to other people and their stories. To offer my support to the cause. Pressure your local, state and federal representatives to take corrective action.

Money should be shared. Used to create and grow assets. Used to create a better world. For ourselves, our loved ones, our community and our world.

We are all just doing the best we can. Lets all try and create a more perfect union.
